Six Word Theater
Click here for last week's entry.
Inspired by the challenge Hemingway undertook to tell a story
in six words("For Sale: baby shoes. Never worn.”), I attempt
to polish my skills by telling a six-word story or phrase each
Wednesday.
I encourage you to feel free
to "continue the story" or start your own.
Today's entry:
Dad still makes breakfast for two.

Places flowers yearly at accident site
Pain soothed down with tabasco sauce.

no one to chastise bad habits.
no one to share them with.
the grief tourist says...

the grief tourist says...
i never drank

she died
the grief tourist says...
i couldn't save her from

the grief tourist says...
motel room.

no one taught me how.

it would
feel good?

• • Mae West, arrested, jailed, still triumphs.
• • That is a snapshot of my full-length play "COURTING MAE WEST: Sex, Censorship and Secrets" - - which will be staged at the Algonquin Theatre [123 East 24th Street, NYC] in July 2008. Come up and see Mae - - MaeWest.blogspot.com - - in her hometown!
Come up and see me sometime.
Fork in the road. Took it.
