Inspired by the challenge Hemingway undertook to tell a story
in six words("For Sale: baby shoes. Never worn.”), I attempt
to polish my skills by telling a six-word story or phrase each
Wednesday.
I encourage you to feel free
to "continue the story" or start your own.

time flies--
not when
you're grieving
In 2007, 494 of them - murdered.
Historic landmarks demolished daily. Replacement? Starbucks.
Schlep at bar: offers awkward smile.
"I understand, Bill. Perhaps next time."
Thousands pass by, noone notices her.
"Dorine was here," scrawled on Bridge.
Her soul's a city, Population: One
Soothing footsteps from the nameless above.
